Created in 1999, Hogan organises music festivals that are curated by seminal musicians/artists. Previous curators include: Thurston Moore, The Dirty Three, The Shins, Sleater Kinney, Devendra Banhart, Modest Mouse etc.
The inaugural Australian event has been currated by Nick Cave and I strongly urge anyone in Brisbane to check it out. (After all we are in the midst of a Global Financial Crisis and Niburu is coming in 2012, we may never get to see it again). The Saints and Fuck Buttons are playing, need I say more?
This project is slowly renewing my faith in music.
