Weirdboobs weird dudes, J & K and special guest Spermwhale took over the Fox on Mitchell Street on Saturday night for the farewell of partygoer and weirdboobs enthusiast Shano.
The crowd were blessed with Spermwhale's selection of deep minimalistic sounds and tech delight. The atmosphere felt was like no other place in Darwin, the intriguing sounds brought people off the street inside with interest piqued.
All in all it was a great night, only to be disappointed when we left to another venue which we will not name! We recorded the sets of kb and have posted them up for you all. Spermwhale's mixes will be posted shortly keep checking back, a preview of Spermwhale's sounds can be heard on the first 10mins of KBs set.
KB's set was a fusion of deep progressive and filthy electro. A few sound and tech issues (silence at 20 minutes 32 secs) didn't stop him from throwing down a very enjoyable set. And to finish off his complete and utter disregard for genres in general, he even threw in a dubstep finale with some Rusko and Tron.
